Novus LLC, a distributor of telecommunications equipment, has moved its executive offices from Fairfield to 25 Lindeman Drive in Trumbull.
“Novus continues to grow, and this new headquarters provides us with the platform we needed to expand our services and support our growing community of reseller partners,” said Chris Meehan, managing partner at Novus, in a statement. “This move provides us with a facility better suited to meet to our specific needs and is an ideal complement to our centralized warehousing in Nashville, Tenn.”
The 2,500-square-foot office, off the Merritt Parkway and Henry Mucci Highway in Trumbull, will serve as headquarters for Novus’ U.S. operations, which include a warehouse distribution and technical support facility in Nashville.
Jack Meehan, president and CEO of Novus, said a lot of the company’s clients have shifted to using online software and key codes to download features onto their computer systems, drastically decreasing the need to stock inventory.
“In the old world of telecommunications we needed a lot of room,” Jack Meehan said. “Now you can drop shifts from manufacturing, order online and use key codes to download features you need. … The industry has changed; you no longer need to stock inventory.”
