Stamford-based The Landis Group, a real estate development and management firm, announced that Northwestern Mutual ”“ Stamford has signed a long-term agreement to occupy some 20,000 square feet at 400 Atlantic St.
Northwestern Mutual ”“ Stamford is the most recent business to occupy space at the 15-story, 500,000-square-foot, Class A office tower. Recently, The Navigators Group and Charter Communications relocated to 400 Atlantic St.. Other names on tenant roster include UBS, American Express, The Santander Group and Harman Kardon.

Northwestern Mutual ”“ Stamford is relocating from Westport.

Originally conceived and constructed as Champion Paper’s world headquarters, 400 Atlantic St. is across from the Stamford Train Station. It was redesigned to be eco-friendly and last year was cited by the the Southern Connecticut Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) in the 500,000- to 1,000,000-square-foot, multi-tenant category as “building of the year.”
