The deadline has been extended for nominations for this year”™s 40 Under 40, the June awards event now in its 10th year.
The nominating deadline is now April 16, five days beyond the original April 11 deadline. Sponsor Westfair Communications said no nominations will be accepted after 5 p.m. April 16.
Winners will be notified April 25. That date remains unchanged. Past years have seen nominating numbers above 125.
WCBS business reporter Joe Connolly is the keynote speaker and emcee.
The June 19 event will be held at the Palace Theatre in Stamford, 61 Atlantic St., beginning with networking and refreshments at 5 p.m.
Nominees must work in Fairfield County but need not live in the county. They must be under the age of 40 on June 18. Self-nominations are welcome, as are multiple nominations. Nominate at Westfaironline.com.
