Nature’s Temptations, a health food store, will be relocating its Ridgefield location down the street next month, from 18-20 Prospect St. to a 6,000-square-foot space at 32 Prospect St.
Nature’s Temptations owner Jeff Konchalski said the move upped capacity and matched a sharp increase in demand for organic, natural and locally grown foods and products.
“I”™ve been in Ridgefield for 12 years,” said Konchalski. “The industry has grown and I couldn”™t hold the capacity in a smaller store.”
Konchalski”™s former store was less than 2,000 square feet. He was constantly running out of product.
“We”™ll now offer a large selection of organic produce,” he said. “We also have a 16-foot deli case with organic meals and tossed salads made right in front of you. There will be a small dining space next to the kitchen and we”™ll offer smoothie juice bar and fresh organic bread.”
The store also now boasts an ample parking lot.
“We want to offer a good service and clean eating environment,” said Konchalski. “We”™re a full- service market with emphasis on organic take-out food.”
Nature’s Temptations has its second location in Cross River, NY.
