Kimco Realty Corp. acquired Wilton Campus Shops, located at 5 River Rd. in Wilton, for $40 million including the assumption of debt.
The seller was a partnership of Westport-based Kleban Properties, which owns the Wilton Executive Center adjacent to the retail property.
Wilton Campus totals 97,000 square feet of space and is 98 percent occupied. The shopping center is anchored by a Stop & Shop, which is flanked by more than 20 specialty shops and several restaurants.
New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Kimco Realty has a stake in a half-dozen existing retail centers in Connecticut, none of which are in Fairfield County.
