Greenwich Education Group (GEG) has appointed John Manganiello as head of the Beacon School in Stamford. He succeeds Meredith Hafer, who has been named GEG”™s director of gifted education.
Manganiello was the assistant head of the middle school at the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. Previously, he spent 15 years at the Windward School in White Plains, N.Y., where he oversaw the development of its executive function and research skills programs.
The new Beacon School head “brings a wealth of experience and talent and has a long track record of success in a wide variety of roles in private school administration,” said GEG Founder and Executive Director Victoria C. Newman. “His focus in understanding the diverse needs and strengths of students, and his passion to help them reach their academic potential, aligns perfectly with the mission and goals of the Beacon School.”
