The Greenwich office of global law firm Withers Bergman ”“ also with offices in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean ”“ will host Roberto Chiappelloni, owner of Greenwich”™s Manfredi Jewels, as the latest featured guest in its “Inside the Entrepreneurial Mind” series.
Chiappelloni opened his business in 1988 and has since built it into what the law firm terms “a global destination for timepiece collectors and enthusiasts.” The Manfredi address is 121 Greenwich Ave.
The cocktail event is Thursday at The JHouse Greenwich, 1114 E. Putnam Ave.
Manfredi Jewels carries more than 30 brands of timepieces from around the world, including Montblanc, Chopard, Omega, Franck Muller and F.P. Journe.
“Though Roberto has led Manfredi Jewels for over 25 years, his entrepreneurial career actually began years earlier, when he became a restaurateur at age 24, not long after first moving to the U.S. from Italy, which makes his story a perfect fit for restaurant week here in Greenwich,” said Phil DiGennaro, who will moderate the event, in a statement. “During our discussion, attendees will hear directly from Roberto how he has identified and pursued opportunities and overcome specific challenges while building his family business.”
Interested parties must RSVP by emailing events6@withers.us.com or calling 203-302-4082.
The “Inside the Entrepreneurial Mind” series features successful entrepreneurs who share their stories and thoughts on building a successful company. Each program is followed by a question-and-answer session. Previous “Inside the Entrepreneurial Mind” events have hosted entrepreneurs Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, principals of Winklevoss Capital; and Paul van Zyl, social entrepreneur and the co-founder of Maiyet.
