The Connecticut Business & Industry Association is holding a morning conference on Friday, June 15, offering tips and ideas for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
The event is sponsored by The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., with MetroHartford Alliance also an organizer. Speakers include:
Ӣ Gov. Dannel P. Malloy;
Ӣ Liam McGee, CEO of The Hartford;
Ӣ Noam Wasserman, a professor at Harvard Business School;
Ӣ Catherine Smith, commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development;
Ӣ Claire Kramer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York; and
Ӣ Frederick Windish, a partner with K&S Distributors.
The event runs from 8:30 to 11 a.m. June 15 at The Marriott Hartford downtown, and costs $15 for CBIA members and $20 for nonmembers.
