CBRE Group Inc. announced that White Plains resident  Kevin J. McCarthy, a commercial office broker in its Westchester/Fairfield County office, has been promoted to first vice president.
Robert Caruso, senior managing director of CBRE”™s Westchester/Fairfield County operations, said McCarthy, who joined CBRE in 2007 and was named a vice president in 2013, closed a significant volume of deals for tenants in the two counties in the last 18 months before his promotion.
Those lease transactions include:
- The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society”™s relocation of its headquarters to a 41,868-square-foot space at 3 International Drive in Rye Brook and its 7,500-square-foot lease at 3 Landmark Square in Stamford. McCarthy represents the nonprofit fundraising organization across North America with over 80 leases.
- A 10,500-square-foot headquarters lease for True North Management Group at 10 Bank St. in White Plains.
- Gerber Life”™s lease renewal and expansion for 24,000 square feet at 1311 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains.
- O”™Connor Davies PKF”™s  relocation to an 11,500-square- foot office at 3001 Summer St. in Stamford.
- A lease renewal for 11,000 square feet by McKesson Corp. at 20 Glover Ave. in Norwalk.
Caruso said McCarthy also brokered the following deals for landlords in the last 18 months:
- PepsiCo”™s lease renewal for 38,000 square feet of space at 3 Skyline Drive in Hawthorne, representing Taro Pharmaceuticals.
- All Aboard DC”™s renewal for 13,000 square feet at 400 Columbus Ave. in Valhalla, representing Guardian Life Insurance Co.
