Italian fare on Main Street

A new restaurant has opened in Stratford, Rivenova Restaurant, bringing with it a top Westchester County chef.

Owners Roberto Nova and Julio Rivera have opened a new family style Italian restaurant on Main Street.

The site had previously been the location for two other restaurants, Ciao and White Lilac Tea Room. The restaurant has also become part of the Stratford Chamber of Commerce.

Nova has brought across the border the former chef of a five star restaurant in Port Chester, N.Y.

Nova said he mixes variations on meals like rack of lamb, veal to Chilean sea bass with traditional Italian dishes.
