Greenwich Hospital”™s website was recognized with a national 2013 eHealthcare Leadership Silver Award for “Best Site Design ”“ Hospital, 200-399 beds.”
The award was handed down in November.
Winners were selected from more than 1,100 entries. The awards program recognizes the best websites and digital communications efforts for a wide range of health care organizations, from hospitals and health systems to pharmaceutical firms and online health companies.
Websites were judged based on a standard of Internet excellence and how they compared with others in their organization”™s classification.
“We went through a comprehensive redesign and relaunch in 2011,” said Fern Galperin, Greenwich Hospital web producer. “It”™s an honor to have our efforts recognized by industry peers.”
