Wilton-based Connolly L.L.C., which provides recovery auditing services for the health care and retail industries, has been selected as a preferred vendor by the national Association for Community Affiliated Plans.
Connolly was recommended for preferred vendor status by one of its health care clients because of its effectiveness in rectifying overpayment errors and helping keep costs contained.
“Connolly is very excited about our new partnership with ACAP,” said Mike Sick, president of Connolly”™s health care division. “In combination with our dedicated Medicaid managed care division, this perfectly complements our focus on the Medicaid managed care space.”
The association praised Connolly for providing solutions to its unique challenges.
One result of the preferred vendor partnership is that Connolly was slated to attend the annual invitation-only ACAP CEO summit, this week in Washington, D.C. The summit”™s goal is to bring together leaders of Medicaid managed care plans, policymakers and other leaders in health care to discuss common challenges and highlight best practices in Medicaid.
With offices throughout the U.S., Canada and the U.K., Connolly bills itself as the world”™s largest privately-held recovery auditing services firm. With nearly 1,300 employees, Connolly processes 3 trillion payment records each year, recovering more than $2.7 billion in overpayments for its 80 clients.
