SOUTH WINDSOR – The Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Connecticut (HBRA-CT) announced recently that the founder and owner of DeRosa Builders LLC of Stamford is the new president and chair of its board.
Anthony DeRosa, who has more than 25 years of industry experience, was officially named to both positions at the group’s annual board meeting on Jan. 28. He assumes the roles at a time when housing affordability and accessibility are growing policy challenges in the state, region and country.
He replaces David Preka of Advanced Construction, who now serves as immediate past president. Prior to his appointment, DeRosa served as past president of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County from 2018-2020.
