The Greenwich Chamber of Commerce will present Greenwich Sidewalk Sale Days from July 10-13, Thursday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. all four days.
The chamber promotes the event’s “savings and values on clothing, jewelry, shoes, gifts and more from participating retailers and businesses.”
This year”™s event includes a balloon artist and face painting on Saturday and Sunday as well as live music throughout. Four days is the longest sidewalk sale event held in Fairfield County, according to the chamber.
“We hope everyone will come to downtown Greenwich during these four special days and support local business,” said Marcia O”™Kane, executive director of the chamber. “It”™s a great time to shop for bargains, discover new stores and to experience a true shopping extravaganza.”
HANradio.com will broadcast live Thursday and Friday, including interviews with shoppers. WGCH 1490 AM radio will feature special broadcast interviews the week of the event.
Established in 1917, the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, a member-based nonprofit, promotes the activities of the town”™s nearly 6,000 businesses. Its educational programs and networking opportunities are open to all businesses and residents.
