In a pair of investigations, the European Union is formally investigating allegations of anti-competitive behavior by Armonk-based IBM Corp.
According to multiple reports, the EU is probing claims that IBM makes it difficult to access its mainframe computers without its own software. Separately, the EU is looking into whether IBM has attempted to monopolize the market for spare parts for mainframes.
IBM reportedly has denied any wrongdoing.
