Frank MacInnis plans to retire next January as CEO of Emcor Group Inc., with current company president Tony Guzzi slated to fill his shoes.
Emcor maintains facility mechanical and electrical systems on an outsourced basis for property owners and is among the larger publicly held companies based in Fairfield County with its headquarters in Norwalk. In the first quarter, Emcor earned $21.8 million on $1.2 billion in revenue.
MacInnis, 63, has led Emcor for 16 years. He plans to remain chairman of the company”™s board of directors.
Before joining Emcor in 2004, Guzzi was president of the North American distribution and aftermarket division of Carrier Corp., a Farmington-based subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. Guzzi is also a director of Hubbell International Inc., which is in the process of moving its headquarters from Orange to Shelton.
