The Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce is taking nominations for its annual Heart of Women Award.
The award honors women who have made a difference and have positively impacted their communities. Nominees must work, reside in or impact Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Redding, Ridgefield or Sherman.
Last year”™s winner was Linda Anderson, founder and president of the Scotty Fund, a Bethel-based nonprofit that provides financial assistance to families of children with life-threatening illnesses.
