Connecticut Restaurant Week arrived Monday, Oct. 8 as mostly a non-event in Fairfield County, with just a half-dozen eateries participating among more than 100 statewide.
More than a dozen Fairfield County towns offer their own restaurant week promotions at varying points during the year, including the just-completed Westport and Weston Restaurant Week; and the upcoming Fairfield Restaurant Week that kicks off Oct. 14, Eating Greenwich and Port Chester which begins Oct. 16, and South Norwalk Restaurant Week scheduled for Oct. 21.
Connecticut Restaurant Week participants are offering special menus pegged to a $20.12 price point. In Fairfield County, participants include:
Ӣ Bar Q, Stamford;
”¢ Patrizia’s of Stamford;
Ӣ SBC Restaurant & Brewery in Southport and Stamford;
Ӣ The Sitting Duck in Stratford; and
Ӣ Tuscan Oven in Norwalk.
