Stamford”™s Clearview Capital Fund III is selling staffing company Advanced Medical Personnel Services Inc. to AMN Healthcare Services for $200 million.
The deal could ultimately include another $20 million to be paid to Clearview based on AMPS”™s 2019 financial performance. The transaction is expected to close in early June and is subject to customary closing conditions.
AMPS specializes in the placement of therapists and nurses in contract positions in hospitals, schools, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and home health. The company recently launched a platform that serves the needs of children within large school districts through both onsite and telehealth therapists.
Based in Port Orange, Florida, AMPS currently has an annualized run rate of approximately $140 million in revenue and adjusted EBITDA of $20 million.
The deal also marks Clearview”™s third exit from its $325 million Fund III, following the sales of Xact Data Discovery and St. Croix Hospice, both in 2017. Established in 2013, Fund III invested in AMPS in May 2015.
Headquartered in San Diego, AMN Healthcare offers workforce solutions and staffing services to health care facilities across the nation.
