Xerox Corp. is in search of a new chief financial officer with the impending departure of Luca Maestri, the company’s executive vice president and CFO.
Maestri is leaving the company, effective Feb. 28, to become Apple Inc.’s corporate controller, Xerox announced today. He will remain on until the end of February to assist with the financial leadership transition, CEO Ursula Burns said.
Burns reiterated that Xerox is on track to meet its fourth-quarter projections of earnings per share of 24 to 26 cents. The Norwalk company will release its quarterly earnings report and full-year 2012 earnings Jan. 24.
Separately, Paul Adams has been appointed chief operating officer of Pratt & Whitney, an aerospace manufacturer and United Technologies Corp. subsidiary based in East Hartford.
Adams, whose appointment is effective immediately, previously led Pratt & Whitney’s Engineering and Operations division.
