CBRE’s National Retail Investment Group this week announced the $19.5 million sale of a grocery-anchored shopping center in Gaithersburg, Md., by an entity of Fairfield-based real estate developer Ceruzzi Properties LLC.
CBRE represented GC Gaithersburg LLC in the sale of the 78,000-square-foot Goshen Crossing shopping center in the northern suburb of Washington, D.C. The CBRE team also procured the buyer, a private New York investor that acquired the property in a 1031 exchange.
The shopping center is anchored by Giant Food, the largest grocery chain in the metropolitan Washington area.
