Philip Vogel, the president of the Connecticut Business & Industry Association”™s CBIA Service Corp. division, is retiring on June 30. CBIA Service Corp. Senior Vice President Ken Comeau will succeed Vogel effective July 1.
The service corporation is the division that manages CBIA Health Connections, the organization”™s private health care exchange for small businesses.
Vogel joined CBIA Service Corp. in 1987 as senior vice president, and spearheaded the 1995 development of CBIA Health Connections.
Comeau joined CBIA Service Corp. in 1990 as director of product development and was later named vice president of sales, products and services. He was promoted to senior vice president in 2014.
As president, Comeau will be responsible for all products and services offered through the CBIA Service Corp. including Health Connections; life, disability, dental, vision, and other ancillary insurance products; energy aggregation and procurement services; several discount purchasing programs; and additional value-added employer services.
