The Business Council of Fairfield County scheduled a July 16 seminar on the U.S. Supreme Court”™s ruling upholding the Affordable Care Act, and what businesses should be doing to prepare.
The scheduled speaker is Jeannette DeJesús, special advisor on health reform to Gov. Dannel P. Malloy. Sponsors include UnitedHealth Group and the Pierson & Smith division of First Niagara Financial Group Inc.
The Business Council of Fairfield County is holding the event at Stamford”™s Ferguson Library on July 16, with registration beginning at 7:45 a.m. The event is free for Business Council of Fairfield County members, which is charging $25 for nonmembers.
Separately, the Business Council of Westchester scheduled its own morning “rapid response” forum on the Supreme Court decision for July 5 at Pace University in Pleasantville, N.Y., with speakers including representatives from the New York Health Plan Association and from Epstein Becker Green.
