Franchise owner Daniel Magnus has opened his second Elevation Burger location in Westchester County at Ridge Hill in Yonkers.
The 2,500-square-foot restaurant seats 89 diners and features a floor-to-ceiling glass façade. It employs 38 workers. It is the 30th location in the nation for the hamburger chain based in Falls Church, Va.
Magnus, a Rye resident and former publisher of Metro New York, holds exclusive franchise rights with the Elevation Burger company for Westchester and Fairfield County, Conn. He opened his first Westchester location one year ago at the Rye Ridge Shopping Center in Rye Brook, creating 25 jobs there.
Magnus in a press release said he plans to open 10 more locations in the two counties and fill approximately 300 jobs.
