BRIDGEPORT — The owner of Cheyenne Early Learning Center has purchased the property they have operated out of as a tenant the past seven years for $1.5 million, according to the real estate agents and broker of the deal.
Pam Hinton, owner of the daycare center, exercised her option to purchase the 4600 Main St. building in north Bridgeport. Hinton purchased the 20,000-square-foot facility from 4600 Main St, LLC.
“This purchase was made possible due to all the individuals who believed in her and her vision of ownership and childcare,” said Hinton. This new ownership would allow her to continue to grow her business by addressing the community need to accommodate more children in a high NAEYC accredited quality childcare setting, according to a press release.
George Shawah of Baldwin Pearson represented Hinton and Bruce Wettenstein, SIOR, of Vidal/Wettenstein was the listing broker.
The seller was represented by Chris Russo of Russo & Rizio, Southport. The purchaser was represented by Joe Tramutta, Esq., of Milford. Financing was arranged by Alissa Gaines of Carlyle Financial, of Westport.
In 2024, the property was appraised for $1.12 million, including $1 million in improvements, according to property records. 4600 Main Street owned the building since June 2002.
