BOMA International’s southern Connecticut chapter bestowed its “building of the year” award on Landis Group’s 400 Atlantic St. in Stamford, under the category of those with between 500,000 and 1 million square feet of space.
The building at 400 Atlantic St. totals 500,000 square feet of space on 15 floors, with tenants including UBS, Harman International Industries Inc. and American Express. CBRE handles leasing at 400 Atlantic St., which was originally built in 1980 as Champion Paper’s headquarters.
The building carries the Energy Star certification of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
“We continue to make great strides in strengthening the energy efficiency of 400 Atlantic,” said Scott Landis, principal at The Landis Group, in a prepared statement. “This award is a strong validation of our ongoing efforts, as well as of our team’s tremendous dedication to ensuring that this property continues to maintain its position as the premier office building in this market.”
