A new class of leaders will be inducted into the Fairfield County Business Journal”™s seventh annual 40 Under 40 Awards in June.
The awards recognize creative young professionals who stand out in personal and professional development, as well as community involvement. The individuals serve as role models for their peers and are motivated to succeed as leaders across the distinct professional landscape of Fairfield County.
“Forty under 40 is a national business-recognition program specifically created to recognize individuals under the age of 40 who exemplify leadership, foresight and vision both personally and professionally,” said Barbara Hanlon, associate publisher of the Business Journal and the key coordinator of the event. “It is a serious competition and winning is a great achievement for rising business people. Nominations have been coming in through our website at a good pace; the level of accomplishment is impressive. Choosing the winners is always difficult and this year, for the first time, Fairfield County 40 under 40 alumni will be part of the judging committee.”
This year”™s reception and awards ceremony will be held at sponsor and host venue, the High Ridge Park Corporate Center in Stamford. The event will invite previous recipients with a 40 Under 40 Alumni VIP lounge, offer a taste of Fairfield County”™s hottest restaurants and showcase of young, emerging artists supported by the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County.
Submissions for the award are currently being taking online at westfaironline.com/40-under-40-nomination until April 19.
The Fairfield County Business Journal will also be publishing a special insert chronicling recipients”™ achievements.
