Meanwhile, American Christmas in Mount Vernon – the folks behind some of Manhattan’s most iconic holiday displays (think Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Macy’s and the Cartier, Saks and Harry Winston locations) – has launched its “Holiday Lane at American Christmas” experience at 30 Warren Place.
It’s twice the size of last year’s with more than 100,000 lights and 100 animatronics and figurines in nine themed areas.
After enjoying the “Holiday Lane” stroll, visitors can spend time in the expanded American Christmas Shop, now occupying two floors and featuring unusual decorations, including collectable Christopher Radko ornaments.
New this year, too, is a chance to win a tour of the Manhattan displays. What is not new is American Christmas’ commitment to donate 100% of the net ticket sales to “Holiday Stroll” to three area nonprofits – The Mount Vernon Boys & Girls Club, Northeast STEM Starter Academy of Mount Vernon and the Youth Community Outreach Program of Mount Vernon. Last year, American Christmas donated a total of $81,213, or $27,071 to each organization.
“Christmas is the most magical time of the year, and we are thrilled to be able to offer a one-of-a-kind experience with this year’s ‘Holiday Lane at American Christmas’ that is not only fun for all ages but also provides us with a great way to support our community through the donation of ticket sales to three important local organizations,” said Dan Casterella, American Christmas’ CEO. “Our team is ready to share the joy of the holiday season with this meticulously crafted experience that will ignite the magic of the holidays….”
“Holiday Lane” will remain open through Dec. 22. Tickets for the experience are available at https://tinyurl.com/holidaylane23. For more, visit www.americanchristmas.com.
