For those who love horror and/or rock”™n”™roll, there”™s the Catastrophicon Rock”™n”™Roll Horror Convention Saturday, July 15, at Manhattanville College”™s Reid Castle in Purchase.
The ghoulish fun, which runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., features authors, horror film stars and vendors from Westchester and Rockland counties. They”™ll be followed after 5 p.m. by performances by the Thomas G. Waites Project and First Jason.
The convention has the support of such local institutions as the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville,”¯The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester,”¯107.1 The Peak WXPK-FM in Briarcliff Manor,”¯Marquee Records”¯at”¯Tarrytown Music Hall in Tarrytown and”¯Westchester County”™s Launch 1000 incubator.
