At 6:30 p.m. tonight ”“ Wednesday, Aug. 23 ”“ you can join the Goosefeather”¯team in Tarrytown for “an evening in Italy,” with a special dinner and wine experience. For $195 per person (gratuity included), guests can savor passed canapés plus a five-course tasting menu complete with pairings from Italy’s top wine producing regions. Wines will be provided by Manhattan-based Banville Wine Merchants.
The menu includes Caprese crostini; baby gem lettuce with crispy prosciutto; squid ink cavatelli, shrimp and calamari sugo; seared branzino with a lemon-capers sauce; wood-grilled, porcini-rubbed ribeye with wild mushroom jus; and vanilla gelato with a 25 year-aged balsamic.
