“We Are Family” Benefit

Pelham Art Center is pleased to announce that its first annual “We Are Family” Benefit will take place on Sunday, March 23 from 10am-12pm. All proceeds from the event directly support Pelham Art Center’s operations, scholarships, youth education and public programs. The morning of hands-on art projects, light bites and family fun will take place on site at the Pelham Art Center at 155 Fifth Ave, Pelham, NY 10803.

This year’s host committee includes Melissa Brice, Alexandra Charney, Annie Donofrio, Carly Glick, Rebecca Scott, and Michele Westrick.

“I am thrilled to co-chair the Pelham Art Center’s first family benefit,” said Rebecca Silver, who is also the President of the PAC Board of Directors. “At PAC we are always innovating and this event is a great example of one of the many ways we are experimenting with new programming for young families. As a mom of three, I am confident this will be a fun-filled morning for all.”

This event features a maskmaking workshop with Zafiro Acevedo, Teen Art Council led art activities, a photo booth and other surprises. Raffle highlights include free family memberships and birthday parties at PAC, art supplies, and gift baskets donated from local businesses.

“This first iteration of our ‘We Are Family’ Benefit is an exciting opportunity to further engage the support of families in our community,” said Artistic & Development Director Hayley Ferber. “We plan to make this an annual event to bring families together through art, creativity and community in addition to raising funds for our youth education programming.”
