Volunteer New York! Hosts Hunger Action Event to Address Food Insecurity in Westchester

Hunger is a growing crisis in Westchester County, where 1 in 3 residents faces food insecurity. In response, Volunteer New York! is hosting a special Hunger Action Event on Thursday, March 27, from 5–7 PM at Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry, bringing together local nonprofits, community leaders, and volunteers to explore real solutions to food insecurity and inspire action.

This event will highlight the urgent need for community involvement, offering attendees tangible ways to make a difference through volunteering, advocacy, and support for local hunger relief initiatives. The program will feature insights from frontline organizations working daily to combat hunger and ensure that no neighbor goes without a meal.
