Taking place on Thursday, May 28 from 6:30-8:30 PM, this intimate “Painting with the Artist” event invites guests to create alongside Bermano himself in an immersive, hands-on setting. With only 75 seats available, the evening promises a rare opportunity to engage directly with one of today’s most compelling contemporary artists. 100% of ticket proceeds will benefit Operation Smile, funding life-changing cleft lip, and palate surgeries for 75 children in need – transforming not only smiles, but futures.
Bermano’s work has captured the attention of global icons, with collectors including Pope Francis, Princess Charlene of Monaco, and Nelson Mandela. Known for his vibrant, emotionally charged style, Bermano is a self-proclaimed “famous artist” whose journey is as compelling as his work. His artistic career began in 2010 during a profound personal mental health crisis. With no formal training, Bermano turned inward. drawing inspiration directly from emotion, instinct, and the human experience. What emerged was a powerful creative voice rooted in authenticity and purpose.
Today, Bermano is on a mission: to spread joy, inspire connection, and create meaningful impact through art. This event reflects that purpose—blending creativity, community, and compassion in a way that resonates far beyond the canvas. Guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening of guided painting, connection, and philanthropy in the gallery’s newly opened space which is positioned as a cultural and charitable hub in the heart of the Greenwich Design District.
100% of ticket proceeds from this extraordinary charity event will be donated to Operation Smile to help cover immediate surgical and comprehensive care for patients waiting for care today, as well as training operative teams and building up hospital infrastructure to create more self-sustaining surgical access for future generations in the 37 countries they serve. The care includes the surgery itself as well as dental care, general pediatric checkups, nutrition, mental health support and more.
