100.7 WHUD to Broadcast Live November 20-22; Donations to Support Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital’s Advanced Pediatric Services
VALHALLA, N.Y. (November 15, 2024) – Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital is proud to celebrate its 20th Anniversary with the return of its most beloved and impactful fundraiser – the 100.7 WHUD Radiothon for the Kids – November 20-22.
Now in its 20th year, the 100.7 WHUD Radiothon for the Kids remains a major fundraiser for the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. All donations made during the event will support the lifesaving and life-changing pediatric services offered by Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital to children from the Hudson Valley and beyond.
Community members seeking to support the hospital’s advanced care mission should call 1-877-335-5437 during the live event, which will broadcast on 100.7 WHUD-FM November 20 and 21 from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m., and November 22 from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. Donations can also be made by texting “MFCH” to 51555 or online at WHUD.com.
Throughout the three-day broadcast, 100.7 WHUD personalities will speak live from the lobby of Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital with patients and families who will share their stories of triumph over significant medical challenges. Generous partners supporting the 100.7 WHUD Radiothon for the Kids include Pamal Broadcasting, All Aboard Child Education Centers, Ben & Jerry’s, Coral Sea Pools, Genesis Jewelers, Just Lift Gym, Paul Gdanski Engineering, ShopRite Supermarkets, Southeast Kitchen and Bath, Splash Car Wash, Subaru of White Plains, Suburban Carting and Tompkins Community Bank.
This year’s patients in the spotlight include Mackenzie, 5, of Putnam County, who received care for toxic epidermal necrolysis, Christopher, 5, of Westchester County, who receives care for epilepsy, Olivia, 11, of Putnam County who received care for aplastic anemia, and Charles 11, of Westchester County who receives care for acute asthma.
The Radiothon is an annual program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital is a member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
