The Eagles have announced “The Long Goodbye,” a farewell tour for the iconic rock band.
Thirteen shows are initially scheduled for a tour that will run into 2025. “The Long Goodbye” kicks off Sept. 7 at Madison Square Garden, with additional tri-state area shows on Sept. 16 concert at Newark”™s Prudential Center and Sept. 20 at Belmont Park.
Presale tickets and VIP packages are available starting today for all announced shows and the general on-sale will start July 14 at 10:00 AM local time.
The band’s “Greatest Hits 1971-1977” is the best-selling album in history, with the RIAA certifying the collection at 38-times Platinum. During “The Long Goodbye” tour, the current incarnation of The Eagles ”“ Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill and Deacon Frey – will be joined by Steely Dan as their opening act.
