Norwalk Mayor Richard Moccia today requested that Connecticut Light & Power (CL&P) deliver and install generators at polling locations that currently are without electricity in advance of the Nov. 6 elections.
As of Friday afternoon, four of the city”™s 10 public school buildings used for polling were without power.
CL&P said earlier Nov. 1 that the vast majority of all customers would have their power restored by Nov. 5 or 6.
The company offered to provide generators to polling locations if power is not restored by Election Day.
