SHARE, a nonprofit coalition of organizations committed to reliable, clean and affordable electricity across the state is hosting a lunch-workshop for business owners focused on Entergy”™s supplier diversity program. The meeting is Thursday, May 2, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Don Coqui Restaurant, 105 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains.

Contractors, environmental and waste management, chemical, engineering, maintenance, electrical and HVAC vendors are encouraged to attend.
Entergy”™s Walter Lloyd, director of supplier diversity, and Sam Davis, senior manager for materials, purchasing and procurement, will be the featured speakers. Their presentation will provide detailed information on the supplier diversity program and how Entergy awards contracts to minority- and women-owned businesses (MWBEs). Entergy, a SHARE member, owns and operates the Indian Point Energy Center.
“With an increased focus on clean and affordable energy like nuclear power, SHARE is committed to providing its members a platform to explore and discuss business opportunities in this space,” said Frank Fraley, president of SHARE.
