Sacred Heart University has announced the appointment of Martha J. Crawford as the new dean of the Jack Welch College of Business, effective Aug. 5. She replaces John Chalykoff, who is retiring.
Crawford has been part of the faculty at the Harvard Business School since 2016, where she teaches the MBA core-curriculum course “Leadership and Corporate Accountability” and developed the course “21st-Century Energy.” Earlier in her career, she held senior vice president of research and development for the French-based multinational companies Air Liquide, Areva and L”™Oréal.

Her expertise in creating value through technical innovation will be critical as we continue to develop an innovation center at West Campus. She is dedicated to providing a transformational learning experience for our students and also contributing to the regional economy.”
