Waterbury-based Post University is now accepting applications for its Malcolm Baldrige School of Business (MBSOB) scholarship.
The four-year, full-tuition award is offered annually to two exceptional students pursuing their dreams of securing a top-tier business education without the financial burden of tuition fees. Scholarship recipients also receive mentorship from esteemed, access to exclusive networking opportunities, and real-world projects designed to equip them with the skills needed to excel in the competitive business world.
Applicants must enroll as full-time residential students and have an unweighted high school grade point average of at least 3.65. Standardized test scores will not be used to determine this year’s recipients, although students can submit test scores to help strengthen their overall application. Other eligibility criteria include a completed scholarship application form; a high school transcript; a resume detailing the applicant’s student activities, community service, leadership experience and work experience; two letters of recommendation from an individual (teacher or employer) addressing the applicant’s academic abilities; and a 500-word essay detailing what an organization’s role is, or should be, in promoting social responsibility
“This MBSOB scholarship is not just a financial award; we view this award as an investment in the business leaders of tomorrow,” said Dr. Alisa Hunt, interim dean of The Malcom Baldrige School of Business. “I encourage all incoming freshmen who want to pursue a career in business to apply.”
