Manhattanville College is reporting a 15% increase in new student enrollment during its spring semester, which the Purchase-based school attributed to “a host of new programs that illustrate new trends in education.”
In a press statement, the college noted the growth of its School of Nursing and Health Sciences and increased enrollment in computer science, musical theater, business programs and psychology studies. The college also highlighted its student body diversity, noting 55% of fall 2022 graduates from its School of Nursing and Health Sciences and 62% of new nursing undergraduates were students of color.
“Manhattanville has welcomed more than 200 new students this semester, new undergraduate enrollment has more than doubled, and enrollment is up 16% at our nursing school,”™”™ said Troy L. Cogburn, vice president for admissions and marketing. “Manhattanville continues to attract the traditional liberal arts student, but is reaching a new type of student with a host of exciting programs.”™”™
