Manhattanville College announced it has admitted its largest and most diverse class, with 3,250 first-year students accepted for the Class of 2027.
The Purchase-based school said this is the largest class of admitted students since record keeping began 25 years ago. This year”™s incoming student body is a 15.6% increase from last year and a 31.8% increase from 2021, and this year also had the highest number of applications since 2017.
Furthermore, the school stated the admitted Class of 2027 is nearly half first-generation and includes an increased number of BIPOC and international students.
“We are delighted to see such a strong interest in our academic programs, which are designed to prepare students for successful careers and meaningful lives in a rapidly changing world,” said Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing Troy Cogburn.
