Connecticut”™s Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport is inviting children to bring their favorite teddy bear or other plush toy to the “Teddy Bear Clinic” being held on July 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This special event will feature children”™s activities and storytelling focusing on Bear Awareness and the facts about real bears. The Teddy Bear Clinic at the Peacock Pavilion will offer a free health checkup for the children”™s favorite stuffed animals, and each child will receive a free Teddy Bear Hot/Cold Boo Boo Buddy while supplies last.
The Teddy Bear Clinic is sponsored by Yale New Haven Children”™s Hospital.
