The maze of business, energy and community funding options gets a well-organized airing in Putnam County this month.
The Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council is hosting a consolidated funding Application (CFA) workshop Thursday, April 25, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., in Putnam Hospital Center”™s Weber Auditorium, Stoneleigh Avenue, Carmel.
The workshop includes an overview of the CFA application process. The funding opportunities to be discussed include business assistance in several forms, including direct assistance to businesses; low-cost financing; workforce development and agriculture aid.
Community development funding options to be discussed include waterfront revitalization; economic and community revitalization; arts programs; and parks, historic preservation and heritage areas.
Energy and environmental funding options will include energy improvements; environmental improvements, and sustainability.
