The Rockland County Youth Bureau is seeking local companies, government agencies and nonprofits for its 2023 Youth Employment Program.
Last year”™s Youth Employment Program placed over 220 young people with employers throughout the county. Employers who hire local young people through the program will receive 100% reimbursement for their salaries. benefit by hiring enthusiastic, hard-working employees and will be reimbursed 100% of their salaries. Participants in the program will have completed a mandatory pre-employment training program developed and conducted by the Youth Bureau.
“This is a great way for our local businesses to help our young people gain work experience and do so at no cost,” said County Executive Ed Day. “We look to get our young people engaged and employed while giving them hands-on experience that will help them prosper in their future careers.”
