The Connecticut Business & Industry Association is holding its annual environmental and energy conference June 6 in Waterbury, with scheduled speakers to include Ira Leighton, a senior EPA administrator; and Dan Esty, commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP).
Sessions include new regulations, policies, and permit requirements at DEEP; and environmental management, enforcement, and renewable energy opportunities.
The conference runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at CoCo Key Water Resort & Convention Center in Waterbury, with rates ranging from $25 for students and government officials to $125 for CBIA nonmembers.
