The Business Council of Westchester will accept nominations for its 2014 Rising Star awards until Friday.
The annual program recognizes 40 people under the age of 40 who are making a name for themselves in Westchester County.
Winners are selected for their professional or entrepreneurial accomplishments, leadership qualities and business affiliations. Anyone who works in Westchester County and is between the ages of 21 and 40, as of June 30, is eligible.
“The Rising Stars Award gives us the opportunity to recognize the talents and contributions of this vital population of our workforce,” said Marsha Gordon, Business  Council CEO, in a release. “These young leaders represent the vision and future of our community and its businesses, and we look forward to celebrating the group of leaders in Westchester County.”
