The Westchester County Association will discuss the economic opportunities of public-private partnerships at the “Rethinking Westchester” conference in Tarrytown on June 21. The conference, which will be held at the Westchester Marriott from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., will include speakers who are national experts in site selection, public-private partnerships, modern infrastructure and community revitalization.
The morning keynote speaker, Mark M. Sweeney, a well-known site selection expert and senior principal at McCallum Sweeney Consulting, will share experiences about successful and innovative approaches to revamping the community by working alongside site developers. The afternoon speaker, Kathryn S. Wylde, president and CEO of Partnership for New York City, will expound on how public-private partnerships can help fund public projects.
