As part of an effort by management to expand retail offerings at Post Road Plaza, a 3,000-square-foot Visionworks store has opened at the Pelham Manor shopping center.
North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management, Post Road Plaza’s manager, said the eyewear retailer joins dining and entertainment chain Dave & Buster’s, which opened in April, and a 1,970-square-foot Sally Beauty Supply store that opened in August. A Panera Bread location is also expected to open in the near future, though officials did not give an opening date. The Visionworks store will offer frames, lenses, sunglasses and accessories as well as contact lens dispensaries and in-store labs.
The 267,000-square-foot shopping center at the intersection of Boston Post Road, Pelham Parkway and the Hutchinson River Parkway is anchored by a 75,000-square-foot Fairway Market. Other stores in the center include Citibank, Hallmark, GNC, HomeGoods, Modell’s, Marshalls Shoes, Dress Barn, Lane Bryant and Smashburger.
Visionworks operates 660 stores in 41 states and the District of Columbia. Levin Management manages and leases 95 properties totaling roughly 13 million square feet.
