The Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council will report today to the New York State Strategic Implementation Assessment Team on progress in implementing its five-year strategic plan to create jobs and spark economic development in the seven-county region.
The presentation, at 1:45 p.m. at the Marist Boathouse at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, will also include a morning and afternoon bus tour for the visiting team of  state commissioners and industry experts. The tour will include Stewart International Airport, the town of Beacon and Marist Cloud Computing.
Members of the Stregic Implementation Assessment Team expected to attend the presentation include Secretary of State Cesar Perales, Office of General Services Commissioner RoAnn Destito, Department of Taxation and Finance Commissioner Jerry Boone, Director of Upstate Economic Development Richard Tobe, and Department of Transportation Commissioner Matthew Driscoll.
