Joseph Giulietti, the new president of the Metro-North Railroad, has reduced the railroad’s on-time performance goals in favor of improving safety.
The measure is one of several within the railroad’s 100-day action plan in the wake of a federal investigation and report blasting the company’s inadequate culture of safety.
Giulietti and other top managers will be holding six informational sessions in the upcoming weeks for commuters to attend.
- March 26 – Grand Central Terminal main concourse, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- April 3 – White Plains Station entrance lobby, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- April 10 –  Stamford Station across from the ticket office, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- May 1 – Grand Central Terminal main concourse, 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- May 6 – Croton-Harmon Station near the ticket office, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- May 14 – Harrison Station eastbound platform, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
